    The strategic objective under this theme is ‘To ensure that our strategic themes and outcomes are achieved through the development of relevant capacities and skills for NODO, CSOs and partners’.

    The strategies to be used in achieving this strategic objective will include coming up with an institutional Implementation Plan (IIP) and ensuring its full implementation, Strengthen organisational financial control systems and mechanisms, Strengthen organisational leadership and governance structures through development of effective policies and structures, ReinforcingNODO’s sustainability strategy through the development of an effective external relations and communications strategies and building synergies and stakeholders networking through collaboration, coalition building and advocacy action groups.

    Some of our activities under this strategic objective include:

    • Conduct training and awareness for staff/board members on finance, procurements, conflict management and governance;

    • Conduct periodic staff training needs assessment and address gaps;

    • Equip the organization offices with attendant facilities, equipment and infrastructure for improving performance;

    • Establish a consultancy wing and entrepreneurship division to raise funds for human resource and programmatic implementation;

    • Start the publication of a monthly newsletter as well as a website, brochures and other visibility/promotional media.
